Dr. Mark Sevigny received his bachelors degree in chemistry from the University of South Florida, graduating Magna Cum Laude. He then went on to Nova Southeastern University to earn his Doctorate of Optometry and an additional Bachelors degree in Vision Science. Dr. Mark Sevigny was one of the top in his graduating class and received top honors. Dr. Mark Sevigny trained with many of the top Doctors in the world at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, which is rated US News #1 Eye Hospital in the world. Dr. Mark Sevigny and his wife Tiffany have three girls, Riley, Baylee and Aubrie.
He is a member of the American Academy of Optometry (AAO) and the Florida Optometric Association (FOA).

Dr. Robyn Russell received her Doctor of Optometry degree from Nova Southeastern University in Davie, Florida, in 2008 after receiving her undergraduate degree from Florida Atlantic University, Boca Raton, Florida, in 2004. In addition she completed a Pediatric and Vision Therapy Residency at Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee, in June 2009.
Dr. Russell started her Optometry career at the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee, in 2008. Her areas of expertise are in pediatrics, vision therapy and contact lenses.
Dr. Russell is a member of the American Academy of Optometry (AAO), the American Optometric Association (AOA), the Florida Optometric Association (FOA), and the College of Optometrist in Vision Development (COVD).

Dr. Timmerman earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry in 1975. He has been practicing in Wauchula, Fl. since 1981. Dr. Timmerman provides general eye care, and his area of special interest is the fitting of contact lenses.
Dr. Timmerman has three children: Mark and Ira are his two sons, and Elizabeth is his daughter. He also serves as a Hardee County Commissioner.

Sevigny did his undergraduate training at Nasson College in Springvale, Maine. He has a Bachelors of Science degree Cum Laude. He received his Doctorate in Optometry from the Massachusetts College or Optometry in Boston, Massachusetts.
Dr. R. Sevigny served in the U.S. Air Force. He achieved the rank of Captain and was the Chief of the Eye Clinic at USAF Hospital at Ellsworth AFB, South Dakota in 1973.
Dr. R. Sevigny opened his practice in Avon Park in 1974. He has three sons: Eric, Mark and Chad.

Dr. Daniel Black treats patients in Arcadia, Sebring and Wauchula
Dr. Daniel Black earned his Doctorate of Optometry in 2009 from Nova Southeastern University. During this time he also obtained a Bachelors Degree in Vision Science to accompany his previously achieved Bachelors Degree in Life Sciences.
Dr. Black specializes in primary medical eye care. He spends a great deal of his time caring for patients with Glaucoma, Macular Degeneration, Diabetes, and Dry Eyes. Dr. Black is also very involved with proper eyewear design for golf, fishing, and many other activities. This allows his patients to enjoy their gift of sight, while doing the activities they love.
Dr. Black is a Proud husband and father of two! His wife, Marne, is an elementary school teacher who has a deep passion for educating our communities Children. His son, Dylan, is active in high school athletics and his young daughter, McKenna, has started taking dance lessons.

Dr. Brad Peltzer has been a leader in the field of Optometry. He has been a lifelong member of the American and Florida Optometric Associations, has lectured at numerous continuing education seminars and has been an Adjunct Professor at Nova Southeastern University, New England College of Optometry, Ohio State University, State University of NY, and the Pennsylvania College of Optometry.

Dr. Anderson was raised in Orlando and completed her undergrad at Florida State University -- still a fervent Noles fan!!! She went on to get her doctorate at Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale. After receiving her doctorate Dr. Anderson worked a year at the VA in Gainesville. She later moved to Polk county and worked 8 years in Polk and Highlands counties. Dr Anderson bought and ran her own private practice in Orlando for 5 years before returning to Polk and Highlands counties. Dr Anderson currently lives with her husband and 2 dogs. She Enjoy riding Harleys, Country line dancing, Gardening, Fishing and of course watching my NOLES!!!
Dr. Glenn Thayer is an 1974 Ohio State University College of Optometry Graduate. Dr Glenn Thayer has been serving the people of Lake Placid since 1979. He enjoys getting to know his patients and their families. He has been blessed to watch his and so many families grow through the years. Living and volunteering his time within his practice as well as the beautiful community of Lake Placid. He has served as President of Lions Club, Director of the LP Chamber of Commerce, and Board Chairman Manna Ministries of LP, Member and Elder of the 1st Presbyterian Church LP.
Dr. Thayer enjoys teaching the Good News, Family (10 grandchildren), Music, Walking (old age running), Swimming (mostly wading now) and he is a retired car guy. One of the coolest things to do is Cave dive. Dr. Thayer has completed 100 cave dives and is a certified cave diver.
